Anaïs LF invites you to discover "Les Fenêtres Bleues," an exhibition where each canvas opens a window onto the intimate and the universal, through colors and shapes that capture raw emotion.
About the event:
Anaïs LF explores the encounter as a movement: a flow between self and other, between gesture and material, between light and shadow. Each canvas is an attempt to transcribe a raw emotion: that of a connection, an intersection, a moment. For the artist, encounters with others are also opportunities to encounter oneself. It is this intimate quest that gave birth to her passion for painting: the desire to meet, to rediscover, to redefine oneself through movement.
In the series Les Fenêtres Bleues, Anaïs LF delves into a subtle interweaving of the intimate and the universal, where each shape and color becomes an encounter. Sometimes a tension, sometimes a breath of fresh air, sometimes an opening. The artist invites everyone to lose themselves and find themselves in these intersections of emotions, thoughts, and memories. Abstraction becomes a universal field of expression, allowing each person to project their own stories and rediscover their freedom through the work.
A self-taught painter, she allows forms to emerge without premeditation, offering each gesture complete freedom. Her abstraction becomes an intuitive language, where each work is an encounter: with oneself, with others, with the unknown.
The windows in this series symbolize passages, openings between the inside and the outside, between oneself and others. They allow for both introspection and escape, offering spaces of transition and contemplation where encounters are made and unmade.
The colors—blue, black, and white—embody this duality. Blue evokes depth and introspection. Black, far from absence, captures the light and reveals hidden textures and nuances, while maintaining a palpable tension. White, meanwhile, offers balance and breathing space, creating a contrast that captures the light and emphasizes the strength of the black. Together, they become a visual language for exploring human relationships and inner emotions.
