Claudio Gomez was born in Bell Ville, a small town in Córdoba's province of Argentina, in 1968. After his art studies, he started teaching taught sculpture and drawing at the Dr José Figueroa Alcorta Provincial School of Fine Arts.
Today, he lives in Unquillo, another small town in Córdoba's province. Claudio Gomez loves to show the models that inhabited the tailoring shop of his father during his childhood. He depicts them almost deprived of their corporeality.
Claudio Gomez had numerous exhibitions, both individual and collective, like the "International Symposium of wood sculptures" in Hojer (Denmark) in 2004, or the exhibition "Earth of Fire" (Tierra del Fuego) at the Santo Stéfano's Museum of Camastro in Sicily (Italy) in 1999. He also completed many monumental sculptures for cities or public and private buildings.
