Presentation

Born in Paris, to an artist father himself, Stephen (who made the stained glass windows for the Notre-Dame-Souvernaine-du-Monde church on the Corniche), Gauthier was a student at the Arts Déco school before starting a eclectic background, working in communication at Citroën, for example, and setting up a mobile workshop in a sidecar, with an integrated engraving press! He also crossed the Atlantic.

Winner of a call for projects launched by the Occitanie Region, Gauthier is therefore awaiting a "right of immersion" to set up his works off the coast of Occitanie. They will be made of "natural concrete" formed from concretions of oyster shells enclosed in trellises. An original idea which has also won over scientists, in particular those from Ifremer (French research institute for the exploitation of the sea).
