Presentation
French painter, photographer and linocutter, D'Oregon lives and works at the edge of the forest, in her home-studio near Chantilly, in the Hauts-de-France region.
For more than ten years, she has been painting with acrylics in parallel with her professional activities (project manager in the fields of ecology and the fight against discrimination, then strategic consultant and - without transition - teacher of literature) and her life as a mother.
In 2022, she decides to dedicate herself fully to painting and launches herself as a professional. She was soon selected to participate in various European exhibitions: Espace Divulgarti of the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, Digital Summer Art Festival, Hub/Art and MA-EC galleries in Milan...
Regularly characterized by her entourage as "unstable hyperactive", D'Oregon evolves in a process of permanent experimentation. For this reason, she does not identify herself with a particular style or technique, nor does she claim any dominant influence.
She likes to say that she is a "semi-intuitive" painter, a small foot in the door for label lovers...
Her emotions, memories, thoughts on the world around us, help her to draw the main lines of an inspiration both luminous and melancholic, nourished by music, beautiful stories and the forest that surrounds her. She considers her paintings as a kind of (not so) intimate visual diary of her life.
