Born in 1982 in Buenos Aires, Alejandro Martín Parisi has been living in Paris since 2016.

His artistic training began at the studio of the painter Ana Tarsia, he then joined those of Fernando Goin and Ernesto Pesce. From 2007 to 2012, he attended the seminars of the art theorist Alicia Romero and participated in the workshop of "art clinic" directed by the painter Tulio de Sagastizábal.

In 2009, the Dutch painter and collector Erik Adriaan van der Grijn exhibits his object-works made from chairs and doors recovered from the street. A. Parisi founds Solución Caos, an interdisciplinary collective of young artists engaged in a critical reflection on their personal practice, resulting in two eponymous exhibitions.

From 2011, he dedicates himself exclusively to painting and produces series of large-scale paintings based on the arbitrary appropriation of symbols and figures from art history. His works have been exhibited in Buenos Aires, at the Lujan Fernán Félix de Amador Museum of Fine Arts and at the Tandil Museum of Fine Arts.

In Paris, he explored the technique of collage. He incorporates into the pictorial work notes taken during seminars on the history and market of art, and drawings made in Parisian museums and parks. In 2018, the Grand Monde Gallery and the Sobering Gallery devoted two solo exhibitions to him.

In 2020, he produced an artist's book that appeared in thirty-one unique copies in the collection Petits Papiers founded by the publisher Bernard Dumerchez.
