Presentation

Artistic director and painter, after his diploma from the École supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, then a career in Paris in advertising, Jean-Luc Braesch returned to settle in Strasbourg next to the Cathedral.

His mixed media paintings, acrylic and sandblasting, peer into its heights at the fantastic traces of the chimeras, gargoyles and animals that find refuge there.

We could associate it with a new movement of art which comes from the narrative figuration of the arts of the Rhine, between realism and dreamlikeness, the gothic mineral.
