Expressionism is probably one of those artistic movements in which we could gladly find Manu. B, who explicitly distorts reality, seeking to house it in shapes, colors and textures that convey feelings and expressive intensity.

Unlike the Impressionists, the Expressionists are more attached to the representation of emotions than to that of the physical beauty of the world. They use brutal shapes and colors, which shock the eye of the beholder and which are sometimes referred to as violent.

Very often, most of the works attached to this artistic style have a harsh character, an illusory atmosphere.
