Biography
Joachim Jirou-Najou is a French designer and plastic artist born in Nancy in 1980. He graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d’ Art et de Design de Reims and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris.
He designs furniture and objects for limited editions, mass production and for the industry. He works for Habitat, the Mica Gallery, the Gilles Peyroulet & Cie Gallery, the Trois Ourses, Beauté Prestige International for the brand Issey Miyake, the Ateliers de Paris…
His creations are regularly presented in France and abroad. His wall furniture project “Scope” edited and exhibited in 2005 by Gilles Peyroulet & Cie Gallery (Paris) was acquired by the Centre National des Arts Plastiques (CNAP) for the collections of the Fonds National d’ Art Contemporain (FNAC). Winner of various awards, he was elected one of the 10 creators of the year 2010 at the “Now! design à vivre “.
