Graduated from the School of Fine Arts and plastic arts of Aix en Provence, Eric does not limit himself to a unique practice and experiences with painting, drawing, frescoes and happening.
Eric Debebant is more familiarized with the practice of drawing than with painting, in his portraits and his nudes, the artist addresses the issues of our actual society, which he criticizes implicitly. His drawings or paintings are between traditional nude portraits and modern gestures.
In all of his pieces, Eric Debebant delivers a message, he wants his public to react, to incite it to ask question, it does not matter if in order to do that his drawings are chocking or disturbing. The barely sketched appearance that he gives his pieces is part of the challenge.
