Zeky

French, born in Montreuil in 1977. Zeky is part of the OC / MCZs, who are particularly active on the Paris and Montreuil scene. He has been practicing graffiti since the late 1980s, and is one of the few graffiti artists on whom a monographic work was written (Zeky - Ombres Chinoises, 5th volume of the Wasted Talent collection). If he produces few canvases compared to others, each one is the result of hard work and thought. His striking, lively and daring style made him successful with private collectors. His works on canvas are the expression of a free spirit, attached to his movement and in perpetual reflection. For a few years now, he has been working on his “Stabism" style, of which he is the initiator: accumulations, mixtures, interpositions of his own shapes and colors (here formulating a new stage of historical “Wild Style"), which he pushes to their extreme complexity.
