Primal

Primal develops scenes that seem to escape all reality. Pensive characters, kinds of chimeras from the past, representing our various states of mind. Primal uses a melancholy language from the past to evoke our emotions and our contemporary reality. Through his works, he likes to confront us with our own demons such as the fear of the unknown, the complexity of our human relations; a deep curiosity for what apparently inspires the human being and the more buried torments that surround him. Founder of the Atelier Triptyque collective, he has been active on the Montpellier scene since 2014 and is now based in Paris. Primal explores his universe initially in the studio and then instinctively on the wall. Between painting on canvas, wood sculpture and muralism, he has been developing his universe for all these years in France and abroad (Serbia, Mexico, USA, Georgia, Spain ...).
