Biography
From his Bahotenc workshop, Christian projects his emotions and his talent through his abstract paintings.
Self-taught artist, he began to paint at the age of 17. Idyllic landscapes and surrealism are his first inspirations. Attracted by pure pigments, he quickly moved towards a figurative style in pastel.
Then through his passion for Greco-Roman art, he found his inspiration and produced stuck frescoes similar to those in Pompeii. Around 2009, from his mastery of textures and pigments, his new "abstract and surrealist" style was born. His works are a clever mix of projections of mineral paints, texture and light.
The artist leaves in his paintings, free rein to our imagination and our interpretation; to be transported in raw color intensities. Blue is currently the common thread of his creativity.
