Presentation

Parisian sculptor and designer, Junior Fritz Jacquet creates surprising objects that demonstrate the art of origami mastered at its highest level: masks, plants, statues, paintings, relief hangings, and many other elements inspired by nature or everyday life.

The artist's approach is inspired by the continuous line in painting. Thus, each of her sculptures is made in one piece: from a single sheet of paper. In order to give each of his works singular and aerial lines, Junior Fritz Jacquet folds, crumples and models the paper by hand, without any collage or cutting.

In France, he was awarded the trophy "Trésor Vivant de l'Artisanat", among others for his contribution to the recognition of paper as an art material in 2013. In 2016 he was a sponsor of the Foujita Foundation. In 2018, he presented his sculptures at the Gobelins Gallery in Paris.

His work has also been recognised for the past fifteen years internationally, where he is regularly exhibited, notably at the Mingei International Museum (San Diego, USA), the Origami House Gallery (Tokyo, Japan) and the Red Bull Hangar-7 (Salzburg, Austria)...

The gallery, French Arts Factory, has been accompanying the artist since 2015.
