I am a Hamburg artist. Where I live, heaven and earth intertwine, from Aristotle to C. D. Friedrich, O. Runge, U. Querner, E. Nolde, O. Kokoschka… all together, like the wind forming a perfect wave in the vast ocean. Waves have been my intuitive subject since the age of five, appearing in my first school notebooks. With the discovery of spectral colors during my medical studies at the Free University of Brussels and the University of Hamburg, and later with my exploration of contrasts and polarity in Waldorf education in Kiel and Stuttgart, I am constantly creating artworks. Color is my subject. Color is synonymous with the waves of light. Light and color are tirelessly scattered everywhere, refracted again and again, and reappear in new splendor. Light breaks, stone breaks; the heart breaks. Between yellow and blue, somewhere lies humanity with all its emotions, the highest aesthetics in the blue sky and the cruelty of red, of the earth: grace and misery.
