Sjöfn Kolbeins

Sjöfn Kolbeins was born in 1961 in Akranes, Iceland and currently resides in Kópavogur, Iceland. She started painting in 1990 as a means of expressing her creative urge. She is deeply connected to nature and finds inspiration in things that evoke fascination. She has worked with watercolors, acrylics, and oil painting, using a mixed technique to achieve beautiful results. Her works can be found in homes in Iceland, Denmark, England, Germany, the United States, and India.
