Mauro Davoli is an Italian photographer born in 1955. He currently lives between Milan and Paris.
His career started in the Alchima studio in Milan, where he worked for architecture and design magazines such as Domus, Casabella and Franco Maria Ricci.
His technique reveals a perfect mastery of the composition, the management of light and of the shooting.
He is passionate about still lifes and are magnified in his images. He begins his creative process by trying to show that photography can go further than we think. His works are hyperrealist painting by being hyperpictural captations. They then resemble paintings, directly from the 18th century.
To accentuate the status of works of art of his creations, he makes them in limited prints, in limited edition only 5 or 10 copies.
