Ozmo

Within his work Ozmo mixes contemporary and urban art, combining classic elements with pop culture, while drawing inspiration from strategies of our time.

Its ambition is to go beyond the formal aspect of urban art to create true public conceptual art, interpreting esoteric and symbolic questions in a critical and spiritual way.

Ozmo uses large printed PVC clippings which he salvages as a found object, often intervening keeping and incorporating the print into the painting.

Over the years he has explored different oil painting techniques, including acrylic and tempera or lime for large wall surfaces. He is comfortable using traditional instruments such as brushes, pencils and pastels, and also contemporary ones such as markers, adhesive prints and the graphics tablet with new digital media.
When working in public space, Ozmo always intervenes at a specific site, creating interventions that relate to the context and to the viewer on many levels.
