Biography
Van Tame is a painter born in 1959 in Laos. Computer graphic designer, he has been living in France since 1976 and painting simultaneously.
He evolves in a figurative universe, and his creations are close to impressionism. However, he is a far from being a painter of the past, the artist captures the agitation, fervor and energy of a city today, which is his main source of inspiration.
"I offer spectators an aesthetic movement and a play on lights mostly of the urban world. I like to capture the trace of movement, and immortalize an atmosphere of a rainy day on canvas, lose a figure in the blurry background".
