Enric Sant

Enric Sant (Barcelona, 1985) started working very young in street art. In 2007 he founded, together with Grito, Aryz and Registerez, the collective "Mixed Media", one of whose fundamental characteristics was that they began to paint together with a roller, replacing the spray to reach much higher. The technique already marks a fundamental difference with respect to many artists of street art: in the street he continues to paint often with roller and brush and, in studio, he works mostly with oil, which implies a much slower and slower work than most of original artists of street art.

Sant is also very influenced by the aesthetics of the worlds of video games and science fiction, with grotesque, monstrous and inhuman characters often populating his work. Not in vain, Sant has worked for many years in the creation of video games. His work is also influenced by that of masters such as Rubens or Velázquez. Sant is one of the young promises of Spanish street art
