Bill Wyman (born William George Perks on October 24, 1936 in Lewisham, near London) is a British bass player. He is a historic member of the Rolling Stones, from the group's initial formation in 1962 until its departure in January 1993. During rehearsals and tours he immortalized the members of the group.
