Biography
Born in 1990, American artist Allison Zuckerman uses a mix of acrylic paint, digital art and collage in her work, which takes inspiration from old masters such as Roy Lichtenstein, all while subverting traditional masculine artistic visions to those of a female perspective. She uses her intriguing and at times provocative work to highlight how the art world has traditionally been dominated by men, and instead offers the spectator a glance at an artistic representation of a reversed gender bias.
Allison's work has caught the attention not only of the art world, where she has exhibited in New York, Miami, London and Brussels, but also further afield in the fashion and music industries. She has collaborated on designs for Tods, Moschino, and album art for the pop-sensation Charli XCX.
