Akila Precious

 Akila Precious born 2000 is a Nigerian visual artist. He displayed a strong passion for art from his early years of primary and secondary education. This passion led him to pursue a bachelor degree in Fine Art at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he refined his skills. While undergoing his undergraduate studies, he actively participated in several departmental and other school exhibitions. Precious has participated in some exhibitions and awarded certificates for participating in some art competitions; Mindscape: Exploring Mental Health Through Art organized by SAYPHIN and UNICEF 2023, Life In My City Art Festival (LIMCAF) 2025 amongst others. 

Precious expresses himself in different painting and drawings that reflect personal experiences. His works capture the complexities of human emotions aimed at telling cultural narratives and social issues with influence from his immediate environment.Through his artistic practice, Precious aims to inspire conversations about morality and personal growth, bridging the gap between art and societal norms.

His artistic approach and dedication to storytelling make his work both visually striking and deeply meaningful. Precious continues to push the boundaries of art, drawing inspiration from everyday life and the world around him.
