Description
The black line imposes itself with precision on the white background. A tree unfolds, sculpted by a play of rigorous lines.
The execution with the marker emphasizes the torsion of the trunk and the fineness of the branches. Each curve seems to arise from a spontaneous movement, transforming the initial chaos into a complex organic structure.
The composition favors a graphic stripping away. The eye follows the ascent of the wood up to the light, almost vaporous foliage.
The artist explores here the link between abstraction and nature. The vegetal silhouette asserts itself as a living presence, captured in a moment of silence.
This 2026 creation is part of a research into the forms of the living.
The drawing relies on a sharp contrast, highlighting the rough texture of the bark and the anchoring of the roots in the soil.

Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
