Description
This captivating work depicts a vibrant sunset over a tumultuous sea. The warm, vivid colors of the sky, blending shades of pink, orange, and yellow, contrast beautifully with the cool, shifting hues of the ocean's blue. Dynamic brushstrokes capture the movement and depth of the water, creating a powerful interplay between the celestial and marine elements. Reflections of light dancing on the sea's surface add a luminous, almost magical dimension to the composition. The center of the painting, where the sun dips below the horizon, acts as a focal point, drawing the eye and evoking a sense of peace and renewal. This work masterfully illustrates the ephemeral beauty of nature, inviting the viewer to contemplate the ceaseless cycles of day and night.
Presentation
A graduate of Fine Arts in Madrid and a training in Fine Arts at Michel Montagne University in Bordeaux, Mariam Mouliets explores many techniques during her apprenticeship which she describes as “a pictorial adventure”.
Strongly inspired by his native country, his first paintings are a tribute to Spain. Today she works in the abstract, a universe that fascinates her.
