Description
This painting captures the majestic spirit of the Caucasus Mountains through an expressive and atmospheric landscape. Deep blues and luminous purples flow across the sky, evoking the dramatic weather and shifting light of the highlands, while vibrant greens below suggest valleys alive with movement and energy.
Rather than depicting a specific place, the work reflects an emotional memory of the Caucasus — vast, powerful, and poetic. Textured layers and fluid transitions create a dreamlike horizon where earth and sky merge, inviting the viewer into a quiet, contemplative landscape shaped by nature and imagination.
The artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped rolled in a protective tube to ensure safe international delivery.
Presentation
Mariam Baidoshvili is a Georgian artist working primarily in large-scale abstract painting, whose work is rooted in the atmosphere of dreams and fairy tales. She holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in Georgia. Growing up in the country's culturally rich landscape has deeply shaped her artistic voice—a blend of fluid movement, ethereal color palettes, and compositions that invite the viewer into imaginative, almost otherworldly spaces.
Each painting she creates is meant to offer a kind of visual escape, a space where reality begins to dissolve and something more poetic takes its place. She strives to evoke wonder, emotion, and quiet introspection through the deliberate use of color, texture, and layered storytelling.
Over the years, Mariam has participated in exhibitions both in Georgia and across Europe. While her practice continues to evolve, one thing stays constant: her passion for creating artworks that feel like windows into an inner world—where abstraction becomes narrative, and the visual becomes deeply personal.
