Description
In this elegant and playful work, I present a moment in which intimacy becomes an extension of play.
A woman gently covers herself with a fan, while her body retains a subtle sense of both vulnerability and confidence. A man photographs her, capturing this transitional moment. Her underwear casually remains on his hand — like a light, almost accidental trace of what has already happened, but does not require direct explanation. Nearby, on the table, there is a glass of sparkling wine, adding a sense of ongoing pleasure and understated luxury to the scene.
In this work, created in a pop-art aesthetic with a minimalist approach, I focus on gestures, details, and atmosphere, where eroticism arises not from explicitness, but from suggestion and mood.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
