Original painting from our collection
A vibrant study of light and reflection. This oil painting transforms a simple domestic scene into a dynamic exploration of color. A polished silver teapot stands as the central anchor. Its curved surface captures the surrounding environment in shimmering streaks of blue and white.
Beside it sits a deep purple bowl and a bright yellow lemon. The citrus fruit provides a sharp chromatic contrast against the cool tones of the composition. Each object is defined by bold, expressive brushstrokes that prioritize energy over precise detail.
The background merges into a tapestry of deep violets and charcoal greys. Draped fabrics frame the scene with fluid movements. Light dances across the metallic textures and ceramic surfaces. The artist employs a rich palette to evoke a sense of atmospheric depth. This artwork balances the stillness of a still life with a restless, modern application of paint. The composition concludes with a heavy play of shadows at the base, grounding the luminous objects in a dark, tactile space.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
