Midday Graces (Oriental Nudes Series), 2016

Rakhmet Redzhepov (Ramzi)

Three figures emerge in a bold composition of color and form. The scene captures a moment of quiet intimacy. The artist employs a rich palette of deep reds and vibrant greens to contrast with warm skin tones. Each silhouette is rendered with confident, rhythmic brushstrokes. These gestural marks create a tactile surface that emphasizes the curves of the human body. The figures are positioned with their backs to the viewer, evoking a sense of mystery and voyeurism. A bright turquoise background pushes the subjects forward, adding a luminous quality to the space. The fusion of oil and acrylic allows for both transparency and density. This interplay of mediums enhances the sculptural feel of the figures. The composition balances the organic lines of the anatomy with the flowing drapery of the headscarves. It is a study of grace and feminine presence. The artwork blends traditional nude studies with a modern, expressive approach to color. Every stroke contributes to a soothing yet powerful atmosphere. The piece concludes with a grounded, earthy foreground that anchors the figures in a timeless setting.
