Description

A glowing crystal mirror turns reflection into hope. This original acrylic artwork features an elegant female hand holding a jewel-like mirror beneath a deep blue field scattered with luminous stars. The mirror itself shifts from blue into turquoise and green, while multicolored crystal facets create flashes of pink, yellow, violet, and coral.

The work explores time, memory, fragility, and spiritual reflection. Seven stars act as symbolic points of connection, while the brightest light appears inside the mirror, suggesting that meaning and inner support can remain visible even as time continues to move. A translucent ribbon crossing the composition reinforces the sensation of flow and passing time.

This artwork is ideal for a bedroom, living room, dressing room, meditation space, or elegant contemporary interior. It also makes a thoughtful birthday, anniversary, graduation, or milestone gift for someone who appreciates symbolic art, celestial imagery, and meaningful contemporary décor.

Presentation

Svetlana Iskoskikh is a contemporary artist whose practice explores memory, emotional resilience, and the quiet search for joy in everyday life. Trained as an architect, she earned her Master's degree from the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Art, a background that deeply informs her sense of structure, balance, and spatial composition.

Svetlana works primarily in painting, developing a distinctive visual language that merges detailed realism with minimalist abstraction. This duality allows her to move between precision and openness: carefully rendered figurative elements coexist with simplified forms and restrained color fields, inviting viewers into an intimate dialogue with the work. Her paintings function as emotional landscapes—spaces where personal memory, inner stability, and collective experience intersect.

At the core of her practice lies an investigation into how color and narrative influence the viewer's emotional state. Svetlana approaches each canvas as a subtle psychological environment, offering moments of pause and reflection within an unstable world. Her works often evoke themes of vulnerability, tenderness, and quiet strength, encouraging audiences to reconnect with their own internal supports.

Svetlana Iskoskikh is a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia and a recipient of the Stella Virtuoso Prize in Painting. Her work has been presented at leading institutions including New Tretyakov Gallery, Victory Museum, and Zaryadye Media Center. She has held a solo exhibition in Moscow and participated in over 20 group exhibitions and international art fairs across Russia, Europe, Turkey.

Through a quiet yet emotionally charged aesthetic, Svetlana creates contemporary works that bridge architectural clarity with poetic introspection—offering collectors and viewers a deeply human experience of presence, memory, and hope.
