Description

A bright summer landscape glows with fuchsia and turquoise. This oil on canvas artwork presents a solitary tree surrounded by rolling fields transformed through bold, expressive color. Lime green, turquoise, magenta, violet, blue, and touches of warm ochre replace conventional natural tones, giving the familiar countryside a fresh and energetic character.

The composition remains simple and readable: one tree, open fields, distant vegetation, and sky. Yet the intense palette and visible brushwork push the scene toward expressive post-impressionism. The tree provides a strong vertical focus while bands of color move horizontally through the landscape, creating both depth and visual rhythm.

The artwork captures the abundance and optimism of midsummer rather than a specific geographical location. Its saturated color makes it especially suitable for contemporary interiors where art is expected to provide personality and a confident focal point. It works well in living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, offices, and creative spaces and can also make a memorable gift for someone who loves landscapes, summer, and vibrant modern art.

Galina Gataullina, July | Fuchsia Turquoise Summer Landscape Artwork

Presentation

Galina Gataullina is a contemporary artist working across abstraction and figurative painting. She was graduated in 1990 from the Art and Graphic Faculty in Naberezhnye Chelny. After completing her studies, she taught painting at a children's art studio before moving into interior design and founding her own design studio, Ampir, in 2003.

This multidisciplinary background—fine art, education, and spatial design—shapes Galina's distinctive visual language. Her practice combines expressive abstraction with symbolic figurative imagery, allowing her to explore both emotional states and broader philosophical themes. She often works in series, developing ideas over time through rhythm, color, and movement.

Two major bodies of work define her current practice. Paradise Garden explores humanity's connection to nature and the animal world, reflecting on how modern life has distanced us from instinct, intuition, and the living environment. Through poetic figurative compositions, Galina invites viewers to return to these origins and rediscover a deeper relationship with the natural world. Her abstract series Movement examines life as a continuous flow—capturing contrasts, energy, and pauses through dynamic color and gesture. For Galina, abstraction becomes the most precise way to express the intangible: emotion, motion, and inner transformation.

Galina is a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan. She has held multiple solo exhibitions and taken part in major group projects such as presentations at Vernadsky Museum in Moscow and exhibitions in Venice.

Her works are held the collection of the Vernadsky Museum in Moscow. She is also a prizewinner of several competitions, including Artist of the Year in the “New Names" category.

Through emotionally charged abstraction and symbolic figurative painting, Gataullina creates contemporary works that reconnect viewers with nature, movement, and inner awareness—offering art as both reflection and reminder of our shared human rhythm.
