Description
The artwork here, "Entry Flowers Original", is a wonderful depiction of an entry table with a vase of flowers, that is saturated with acute detail and vibrant color throughout. Making it one of the nicest paintings by Andre Vignoles we have ever made available. Also, measuring approximately 48" x 24" and 56" x 32" with the high-quality, custom frame, the immaculate artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and size, one of his largest too. This oil painting on canvas has remained in excellent condition since being completed by Vignoles in 1957. The artwork is signed in the lower right, and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity.
Andre Vignoles's art has been exhibited in major museums and can be found in some of the most prestigious public and private collections across the globe. Every item comes with free custom framing. We have wood frames with gold, silver, black, or brown finishes to offer you. If we do not hear from you regarding your framing options we will do our best to frame it in a similar style and color.
Presentation
ANDRÉ VIGNOLES (1920 - 2017): André Vignoles was a French painter and lithographer known for his expressive landscapes, floral still lifes, and figurative compositions. Born in Clairac, southwestern France, he moved to Paris in 1946 to pursue his artistic career and developed a style influenced by Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, and the Old Masters. His paintings combine vibrant color, confident brushwork, and carefully balanced compositions, reflecting both the French artistic tradition and a modern sensibility. Vignoles exhibited at prominent Parisian salons, including the Salon d’Automne and the Salon des Indépendants, and his work attracted attention from collectors and public institutions. From the 1960s onward, he exhibited extensively in the United States, where his paintings gained an appreciative audience. Throughout his career, Vignoles remained devoted to the expressive possibilities of color and form, creating works that celebrate the beauty of landscapes, flowers, and everyday subjects.
