Description
The pictorial approach here relies on an instinctive and raw gesture. The material accumulates in dense layers. The projections of pigments create a tactile and organic relief.
Red dominates the composition. It intertwines with shades of gray and white to structure the space. Golden flecks come to punctuate the apparent chaos, bringing a diffuse light to the whole.
The creation process favors the use of heterogenous tools. Spatulas, ladles or even windshield wipers guide the flow of the paint. This method transforms the technical gesture into a direct transcription of emotion.
The final rendering evokes an abstract cartography. The projections and drips organize around an intense chromatic center. The whole is framed by a sober black border that emphasizes the richness of the mineral and vegetal textures.
Presentation
It is by using pots, sheets, mineral and vegetal materials that it gives the surprise of its art. These directions, these flows, these projections are orchestrated by electrical wires, brushes, carpentry screws, ladles, spatula, windshield wipers… A release of emotion through the transcription of a fact or a gesture generates in it the desire to create.
