Description
The gaze of a child captures attention. The composition focuses on an intimate portrait. The child hugs a teddy bear to him. This embrace suggests a need for protection and comfort.
The artist uses the stencil technique and spray paint. These tools, stemming from urban culture, bring a raw graphic precision. The treatment of shadows in shades of gray accentuates the melancholy of the scene.
The pale yellow background creates a soft contrast with the dark silhouette. A few paint splatters adorn the canvas. This detail recalls the spontaneous aesthetic of street art. The simplicity of the tones emphasizes the fragility of the subject.
The work questions solitude and innocence through an assertive graphic style. This work, created in 2022, combines the rigor of the portrait with the freedom of the urban gesture. The aerosol paint defines the contours and volumes of the child and his toy.
Presentation
A self-taught artist, since her childhood, Miss Fuck has felt close to the artistic world in general. She likes to vary her techniques, though most of the time she does stencil and spray-painting.
With time, Miss Fuck likes to evolve her creation techniques, she refuses to take the easy route or banalities, and always tries to renew her work. This is why street has become her favorite playing field, source of inspiration, place of exhibition. The urban space allows her a certain closeness with her public.
All her canvases resemble her and are a direct reflection of her thoughts. Due to her art, she is able to express her joys and sorrows. She uses bright and bold colors like her speech, the slight punk aspect brings in a touch of revolt, an important aspect for Miss Fuck.
It's like a victory for Miss Fuck to see the world of street art and the punk atmosphere mix together, unite as one in the same speech. Even though, she innovates her mediums and techniques, the stage is always the same, public: street.
