Description
A childlike silhouette settles in the center of the image.
The child plays in grayish sand, ignoring the surrounding danger.
The use of stencils and spray paint creates sharp contrasts.
The gas mask worn by the little being confronts the viewer.
In the background, industrial chimneys release dark fumes into a dull sky.
The composition plays on the opposition between the innocence of childhood and urban pollution.
The aesthetic is inspired by street art codes to deliver a message about the state of the world.
The color palette remains deliberately restricted, punctuated by a few yellow splashes.
This work created in 2022 highlights a form of calm revolt.
The graphic treatment recalls urban posters and punk culture.
The scene freezes a paradoxical moment where play becomes survival.
The detail of the bucket and the miniature hands reinforces the fragile dimension of the portrait.
Presentation
Miss Fuck is a French artist, born in 1973.
A self-taught artist, since her childhood, Miss Fuck has felt close to the artistic world in general. She likes to vary her techniques, though most of the time she does stencil and spray-painting.
With time, Miss Fuck likes to evolve her creation techniques, she refuses to take the easy route or banalities, and always tries to renew her work. This is why street has become her favorite playing field, source of inspiration, place of exhibition. The urban space allows her a certain closeness with her public.
All her canvases resemble her and are a direct reflection of her thoughts. Due to her art, she is able to express her joys and sorrows. She uses bright and bold colors like her speech, the slight punk aspect brings in a touch of revolt, an important aspect for Miss Fuck.
It's like a victory for Miss Fuck to see the world of street art and the punk atmosphere mix together, unite as one in the same speech. Even though, she innovates her mediums and techniques, the stage is always the same, public: street.
