He learned the oil painting technique at the age of nine in an arts academy in Segovia, his hometown, where he was enrolled for several years. Then, he made paintings for family and friends while developing the technique autodidactically, going through different styles.
In November 2019, he decided to carry out a pictorial series composed of twenty abstract cut-outs, but always giving each work its own meaning. This series titled “the twenty oils” was exhibited at the Backyard art gallery in February 2022. As a result, there have been frequent participations in awards, competitions, and other exhibitions at national and international levels, to highlight the International Contemporary Art Fairs of Paris (Sep. 2022), Brussels (Nov. 2022) and Monaco (Aug. 2023).
In the last four years, he has held several solo exhibitions and has had 50 works selected in national painting contests. In 2024, one of his works (“Vigía”) was incorporated into the Collection of Art of Castile and León, located in one of the central corridors of the Castilian-Leonese parliament (Valladolid). In the spring of 2026, his work titled “Getsemane”, inspired by the episode of the Prayer in the Garden of Holy Thursday, was exhibited in the vicinity of the Cathedral of Segovia for more than three months.
