Description
Pop art takes a global cultural icon here to explore the codes of street art. Saturated yellow dominates the composition. It attracts the eye and imposes a solar energy.
The lettering and paint drips evoke the urgency of urban graffiti. Red hearts replace the gaze, instilling an affective and playful dimension in the character. The contrast is marked by a gray and black background, striated with nervous lines and spontaneous projections.
The black line, thick and assured, delineates the shapes with precision. The application of the material varies between dense blocks and transparency. This play of textures brings relief to the flat surface.
The whole plays on nostalgia and modernity. The visual rendering favors immediate impact and chromatic saturation. The composition ends with white splashes that punctuate the bottom of the support.
Presentation
