A feminine silhouette dominates the composition. She settles in the center of a fragmented space, between geometry and nature. The gaze is drawn to the contrast of colors. The bright red of the limbs opposes the deep blue of the background.
The body decomposes into sharp blocks of color. A second figure, lying down, seems linked to the first by a thin line. This thread creates a silent dialogue between the two presences.
The background plays with textures. Gray vertical lines structure the upper part, while a stylized garden occupies the bottom right corner. Small white flowers are scattered across this green carpet.
The composition mixes abstraction and figuration. The face remains sketched, leaving room for interpretation. The light is diffuse, without cast shadows, favoring the strength of the pigments.
The black line outlines the contours with precision. Each colored area defines a simplified volume. The whole rests on a rigorous balance between primary hues and more subdued shades.
