Description
The Rhythm Within is a bold, fluid abstract painting created through sweeping, expressive gestures that move across a cool grey ground.
Deep olive greens, charcoal and earthy tones are interwoven with flashes of yellow, turquoise and muted burgundy. The broad, looping brushwork gives the composition a strong sense of rhythm and momentum, while areas of open space keep the painting balanced and refined.
The layered strokes seem to expand, turn and reconnect, suggesting movement, change and an internal pulse that continues beyond the edge of the canvas. Original acrylic on canvas, signed on the back, ready to hang and supplied unframed. Interior images are visualisations.
Presentation
Paresh Nrshinga is a London-based artist who has been producing artwork and exhibiting since the 2000s.
Originally recognised for his intricate pencil portraits, the artist has shifted his focus to producing paintings that go beyond representing reality. Motivated by a combination of spontaneous brushwork, playful drips and flirting with fluid boundaries, he presents the audience with a transitional space that encapsulates something that is constantly evolving and capturing the attention of the viewer.
Nrshinga's continuous fascination with art, colour, shape, form, and music would open more possibilities and lead him to new heights of creativity and expression. His unwavering passion for these artistic elements would likely fuel his journey toward exploring innovative techniques, pushing boundaries, and ultimately, achieving greater artistic mastery.
During the early stages of his artistic career, he was primarily influenced by Jackson Pollock's use of drips and spontaneity, Andy Warhol's unconventional thinking, and Mark Rothko's emphasis on structure and colour. He followed his passion and graduated with BA (Hons) from De Monftort University in Leicester. Throughout his 20s, Nrshinga continued to develop his artistic skills whilst also pursuing a path of self-discovery, taking a few years to learn ancient Sanskrit texts and the wisdom behind them. The methods and techniques he learnt during those fundamental years would later allow him to bring his spirituality into his creative processes, accessing inner emotions and transferring them onto canvas, almost making creating art a spiritual process and thus being able to connect with a viewer on deeper levels.
Nrshinga works in fluid media that allows him to explore unlimited possibilities and create unique and sensual art pieces. Quite often whilst viewing his work, it awakens instant and deep reactions and emotions from a spectator always leaving them wanting more.
Nrshinga has exhibited prolifically in solo and group shows at galleries and shows spanning the United Kingdom, the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Australia. His paintings are featured in numerous private and corporate collections in The United Kingdom and internationally.
Nrshinga was awarded the prestigious status of a Fellow of The Royal Society Of Arts, London.
