Description
The line accelerates. The black line intertwines relentlessly to sculpt a face. This portrait searches for the balance between the chaos of the gesture and the precision of the gaze. The drawing organizes itself into a dense network of curves and angles.
Acrylic emphasizes an instinctive approach here. The white of the support breathes through the interlacing of paint. Each superposition of lines builds the volume and depth of the lines.
The gaze remains the center of gravity. The gaze is fixed, lucid, almost magnetic. The mouth opens slightly, adding a subtle tension to the composition.
Free splashes punctuate the surrounding space. They bring a spontaneous dynamism to the whole. This creation plays on the radical contrast of black and white. The final rendering oscillates between the quick sketch and the achieved formal search. The face progressively emerges from this graphic labyrinth.

Presentation
Born in 1976, Sébastien Allart lives and works in Aix-en-Provence.
He begins to exhibit locally on various artists' markets and is spotted by France 3 television to illustrate a series of documentary films.
By successive strokes supported or sketched, wavy or angular, deployed or tightened, the works of Sebastien Allart give you the look he has on the real or imagined world, a world essentially in black and white. From his instinctive lines where the gaze triumphs, he lets an emotional charge escape, this charge which animates him and which he offers to the art lover.
His artistic work earned him to be in many galleries and contemporary art fairs.
