Marró damunt d’Encenalls, 2022

Vicenç Marco

A precise study in monastic sobriety. This artwork explores the tension between structured geometry and organic chaos. A dominant brown rectangle anchors the composition. It cuts through a cloud of golden, shredded textures. These fragments evoke autumn leaves or discarded scripts. Thin black lines slice the space with mathematical rigor. They create a dynamic diagonal energy across the pale background. Hand-written calligraphy flows vertically. The text integrates seamlessly into the visual weight of the center. It suggests a hidden narrative or a forgotten poetic fragment. The balance is intentional. Every mark serves a purpose in this minimalist landscape. A small set of circles rests in the lower left. They act as a quiet counterpoint to the central intensity. The palette remains warm and earthy. It oscillates between ochre, tan, and deep chocolate tones. This harmony creates a sense of timelessness. The composition blends graphic design with an intuitive, tactile approach. It transforms a flat surface into a multidimensional dialogue between order and entropy. The final effect is one of scholarly contemplation. The eye travels from the sharp edges of the rectangle to the soft blur of the organic debris.
