Description
Experimental Photography, BnW Portrait by Ellie Sass // Performer & Styling: Eva Roufa // Awarded Artwork by FotoSlovo Magazine (2026) //
Part of the project ‘A CYCLE OF LIFE’ by Ellie Sass, inspired by Marilyn Monroe who was abused from a very young age at home and later in several institutions and foster homes. A soul's life cycle is slowly created from the glow of lights to the darkness of the wounds of the soul, ending in a 'godly' light, where the soul is finally free.
Presentation
Ellie Sass lives and works in Greece.
She focuses on portrait, theatre, street and nature photography and works on narrative and experimental photography. She creates black and white aesthetics in experimental photography, with harsh contrasts of shadows and light, and a tendency towards noir and abstract minimalism (photo expressionism).
Since 2022 her work in experimental photography has been recognized by many distinct international galleries.
