With The Art of Stillness, SKE transports Snoopy and Woodstock, the inseparable characters of Charles M. Schulz' Peanuts universe, into a Japanese zen garden where silence becomes a form of artistic expression.
On one side, Snoopy contemplates the horizon, peacefully settled on his rock. On the other, Woodstock seems to enjoy this same tranquility. Between them, the misty mountains, the circles drawn in the sand, and the softness of a landscape inspired by Japanese prints create an atmosphere suspended in time.
The red sun, the mineral tones, and the delicate texture of the paper bring a poetic dimension to this meeting between two worlds: the American comic strip and the traditional Japanese aesthetic.
