Description
During their residency at La Métairie Bruyère in 2024, illustrators and graphic designers Adèle Favreau and Maxime Prou created four "sugar" etchings on unpolished copper plates. This technique allows for a fluid, brush-worked drawing. The use of matte metal and irregular aquatint gives a very lively result, full of energy and great strength.

Limited edition of 25 copies on Rives BFK vellum 50 x 66.5 cm.
Proofs printed on the presses of the RLD workshop in Burgundy.
The slightly offset printing to the right allowed the artists to number, title, and monogram the proofs with pencil.

Atelier Bingo. are Maxime Prou & Adèle Favreau, two illustrator, surface pattern & graphic designer from France. They love experiment with screen printing and other graphic techniques to create colorful and abstract works. They came to residence for the first time at Métairie Bruyère in 2017 to make their first engravings.
