Description
Diogo Machado aka Add Fuel and the Urban Gallery present the Gully series.
This unique and original work (1/1) is made with the superimposed ceramic technique. Add Fuel interprets in an ultra modern way the famous azulejos, emblem of the Portuguese culture. The ceramic tiles are glued on a wooden panel and mounted in an American white wooden box by the artist.

Presentation
An accomplished graphic designer and illustrator, Add Fuel (Diogo Machado, 1980) has a solid reputation as a graphic artist. After creating a unique visual universe, populated by sci-fi inspired and fun creatures, the Portuguese artist recently redirected his attention to reinterpreting the language of traditional tile design and Portuguese azulejo in particular. Bringing together irony and humor, his vector drawings or stencil-based street interventions reveal awe-inspiring complexity and masterful attention to detail.
