Bronze Sculpture for Sale
On October 1, Artsper is partnering with Galerie Bessaud and Keep A Breast Association to unveil a unique project created with artist Bulle Derouette: 90 ceramic sculptures, made especially to support Keep A Breast's mission to raise awareness and educate about breast cancer prevention, the most common cancer among women.
These 90 unique, numbered and signed pieces will be available from €75, for 10 days only. And because this sale supports a cause close to our hearts, 10% of every sale will be donated to Keep A Breast.
COMMITTED ARTWORKS: 10% DONATED TO KEEP A BREAST
About the artist
Bulle Derouette, a graduate of the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design d'Orléans and represented by Galerie Bessaud, develops a multidisciplinary body of work in which painting and ceramics respond to one another. Her work evokes a joyfully irreverent femininity, as seen in Lobules 286, an installation of 286 ceramic breasts arranged like a climbing wall.
The bust: from art to commitment
In addition to this exclusive sale, Artsper and Galerie Bessaud are donating a ceramic bust to Keep A Breast, a unique piece created by Bulle Derouette.
These busts are part of the association's history: since 2008, more than 150 artists have transformed them into meaningful works of art. Exhibited around the world, these sculptures make it possible to approach breast cancer in an original and positive way, and to raise awareness of prevention methods among an ever wider audience.
"We want to keep showing these works in order to reach new audiences and remind people that art and health are inseparable in our fight. Cancer will not have the last word. Prevention, creativity and solidarity will keep growing, bust after bust, artist after artist."
