Victor Prodanchuk is an Ukrainian artist, sculptor, restorer, blacksmith, carver. The master was born on February 4, 1975 in the city of Dunaevtsy, Khmelnytsky region.
After graduating from the Lviv National Academy, Viktor Prodanchuk mastered the techniques of decorative plastics in clay, chamotte, bronze, wood, stone, and electroplating. Possessing knowledge about the structure of the material, the artist constantly experiments with technologies and improves acquired skills.
Victor Prodanchuk's work is a harmonious synthesis of art and craft. Its ceramic plastic is shaped through the interpretation of natural forms, the human body and its environment. The theme of nature appears in the artist's work, as a result of the very process of creation. Some of the master's sculptures are methodically planned, figurative, the language of the human body, filled with emotions and gestures, is clearly traced. While other works are the result of intuitive play with form, all searches are reduced to biomorphic transformations of the abstract. Balance between man and nature.
Viktor Prodanchuk in his work strives for the manifestation of thoughts through a visual form in order to communicate with the audience on a subconscious level. His work is conceptual. The series of Viktor Prodanchuk "Ancient", "Forest", "Aqua" - all are connected with each other in a magical way. They have the ancient spirit of past civilizations. Looking at each work, we feel a connection with the culture of our ancestors and their lives. In various forms and ornaments, the artist encodes information that the viewer himself deciphers.
