Ouarzaz exhibits in many galleries in Morocco and Europe. He is one of the leading artists of the Moroccan contemporary art movement and was one of the prestigious guests of the 2014 exhibition-event at the Arab World Institute, Le Maroc contemporain, organized by its President, Jack Lang, in collaboration with the King of Morocco Mohamed VI.

Ouarzaz does indeed come from a land in the south of Morocco and belongs to our time. However, it escapes our classifications. In the paintings of Ouarzaz, one often distinguishes figures of demons, in the sense of a familiar genius, half-man half-animal, a spirit which accompanies us. Socrates had his daimôn who whispered answers to him. Plato, in The Banquet, returns to these intermediary beings between men and the gods thanks to which divination and magic are possible. We see some of these beings dancing at Tabal. The daimôn of Ouarzaz is bigger, stronger. It can invade an entire canvas and take the viewer with it. The strength of the work of Ouarzaz is due to this telluric genius. It is he who leads us to a world that seems close to that of Jackson Pollock. When Pollock starts from Western art to join the cosmogony of the Amerindians, Ouarzaz starts from his land to join an abstraction that plays with dripping and renewed techniques (dilutions, stains and superpositions).
