Anelia Nikolova Raikova wasborn in 1972 in Burgas, Bulgaria. In 1991, Anelia graduated from Sofia Applied Arts High School with a specialized focus in textiles. She went on to further her education at the National Art Academy in Sofia, gaining a Masters in Film for Scenography.
Anelia's artwork has since then incorporated the use of spacial elements in the form of installations with a distinct merger of her painted works. Her works of art have been exhibited in thirteen independent gallery showings, while Anelia herself has been the recipient of five distinct artistic awards. She is a continuing member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
