Presentation
The Franco-Armenian sculptor, George Panossian started working on sculpture later in life.
This self-taught artist draws his inspiration from nature by observing natural surfaces and adapting these elements to create his monumental sculptures.
Strongly fond of nature, the artist establishes a poetic relationship between the environment and his works.
His pieces are created using a wide variety of colours, shapes and materials such as steel, aluminium and bronze.
George Panossian conceives his art as a dialogue between materials, shapes, colours, light, the notion of space, time, content...
The soft and wavy lines of his three-dimensional works are enhanced by their polished and reflective surfaces which produce an optical illusion.
The shapes of his sculptures with their light aesthetic, their refined and fluid lines give generate a quiet and soothing strength.
