Eliane Bonabel was a French illustrator born in 1920.

Eliane Bonabel's most famous drawings and illustrations are those that the artist did to illustrate the book "Journey to the end of the night" by Louis-Ferdinand Céline, published in 1959. In fact, young Eliane's adoptive family was close to the actor, it was Louis-Ferdinand personally that asked her to do the illustrations.

Eliane Bonabel started then a long collaboration with Louis-Ferdinand Céline with whom she will always remain in contact even after his imprisonment. Later on she started working in the theater as an stage decorator.
